Image Alignment

When you insert the image you are given a choice of alignment. This is critical in how the image wraps.

Below are examples of the image under different allignments.


Baseline
The picture following this sentence is inserted in baseline alignment.  There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it.
Left

The picture following this sentence is inserted in left alignment. The picture is inserted here ><. There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it. Note that the picture is not drawn where it is inserted and instead starts at the left of the next line.

Right

The picture following this sentence is inserted in right alignment. The picture is inserted here ><. There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it. Note that the picture is not drawn where it is inserted and instead starts at the right of the next line and text wraps around it.

Top

The picture following this sentence is inserted in top alignment. The picture is inserted here ><. There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it. Note that the picture is drawn where it is inserted and forces the next line to have extra space.

TextTop

The picture following this sentence is inserted in texttop alignment. The picture is inserted here ><. There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it. Note that the picture is drawn where it is inserted and forces the next line to have extra space.

Absmiddle

The picture following this sentence is inserted in absmiddle alignment. The picture is inserted here ><. There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it. Note that the picture is drawn where it is inserted and forces extra space in the surrounding lines.

Middle

The picture following this sentence is inserted in middle alignment. The picture is inserted here ><. There was no paragraph or newlines before or after it. Note that the picture is drawn where it is inserted and forces extra space in the surrounding lines. According to one HTML reference, middle "aligns the baseline of the current line with the middle of the image" meaning that the bottom of the current line matches the middle of the image.
